But, I guess ill-health and TOS (a medical condition) are really the biggest obstacles for me...in addition, obviously to some of the smaller obstacles of life which have alreay been mentioned by others, time constraints, injuries, lack of motivation and so forth.

I would say my biggest obstacle is time. Work takes much of my time during the week and sometimes I feel like me going to the gym 4 nights a week takes away too much from the time I should be spending with my family.

Pizza. Seriously, if I'm not super excited about dinner and someone mentions pizza, its an existential crisis with no good resolution, guilt and hate no matter what choice is made.
In the gym, its douchenozzles who work there who demand that I change my training style because I'm scaring the geriatrics. I've now made it clear that there are two choices. They can bugger off or cancel my contract. Seems they want my money.

I used to think of things as a "obstacle" but when I thought about it. A obstacle is something in your way you go around and next time it is still there and you have to go around it again.
I think of things as a challenge now. Once you beet a challenge its done and its not a challenge next time around. Don't ever go around go threw. There was no tested drug free wheelchair bodybuilding. I met the challenge head on and they came out with one. I drove harder and now there is a PRO tested drug free wheelchair class in the WNBF and I was graced to be the first to win a WNBF Pro Wheelchair card. There is now a WNBF Wheelchair Pro class show yearly at the Buckeye Tournament of Champions. ![]() So never go around a "obstacle" DRIVE threw a "challenge". This goes for everything in life.

You actually get gym staff telling you not to deadlift and so forth? That would piss anyone off! I've actually had people in my gym whining because I am forever using the power rack when I train and they want it for curls, Yates rows and so on. One day I had someone ask me how many sets of squats I had left. I asked him what he were doing (if it's squats he could join in naturally) and he said arm curls. I just glared at him and said '3 sets'.
