I had a friend in high school by the name of Jeff who (really) looked like a bodybuilder. He lifted, but so did most of us involved with high school sports. He was gifted with natural muscularity in nearly an unbelievable way. Jeff went on to play college football.

We had several guys like him in high school. They looked naturally built, and were making amazing gains doing the same thing everyone else was doing. Me, on the other hand, lifted my concrete weights regularly, and ate like a freak. I looked like a skinny-fat, frail doofus.

Genetics can definitely give someone an advantage. Genetic freaks do exist. With that said, the people that really want to get bigger and stronger usually do.

With Arnie, AAS helped him more than genetics. The hypocritical prick used to get where he did, then went "anti-AAS" for political reasons.

Wasn't Arnold accused of being the one who brought steroids to the bodybuilders in the United States?
