How do I start?
I just have decided to start lifting. Never done it before. What are some things that I need to do to start a lifting program? As of right now I just want to add some definition to my arms and legs and have my stomach in somewhat better shape. Where do I even start?

Well you are here and that is a great first start. Here you can ask any question to help you out, and learn about nutrition and the best way to lift. The hard part is over that you have decided that you want to lift. Now find a plan that you like and get to work.

I started by finding a program that works for me. I suggest you do the same for you. Just because it works for one person does not mean that it will work for you.
