Default Bodybuilding - creating an illusion
While I rarely (if ever) post in the bodybuilding . com website, I do follow a few contest prep journals to see how some of the pros train. One of the journals I follow is that of Robbie Sardinia.

It is just amazing how getting ripped creates a visual appeal of size. Here's links to Sardinia's posts in his journal. This is how a shredded pro looks weighing "only" 184 lbs at 6'2".

It's a damn illusion.

I think his weight would scale to about 5'10", 168. Usually it's about a 4-5 pound drop off per inch.

That kind of puts it in perspective for us shorter guys.

Dropping 15 pounds of fat and adding 15 pounds of muscle makes a world of difference. I can't tell you how many guys I've seen add 15 pounds of muscle that I've told: "You're ready to compete." They usually laugh because they think they aren't big enough.

Off season, he has some pretty good size - 215 lbs or so. Which would be closer to his potential. As you cut down, it becomes more and more difficult to hold on to lean body mass, even if you hold on to muscle (which is difficult as well).

So, to answer your question, I am guessing "no". he isnt at his natural potential. Impressive though he is, he can, and I am sure he will, improve and bring a better package to the stage in years to come.
