Default Greatest bodybuilder ever?

Simple question, who do you think is the greatest bodybuilder ever and why? If you vote Arnold then who's the second best bodybuilder ever?

I know your intent is more geared to the "so-called" professional level. But, I think the greatest body builder of all time are the average unsung hero's whom get under the bar and sweat, grunt, and grind it out everyday, and get no press, no attention, nor want attention, but do it because in their heart they want their personal goal. And, some of these personal goals go above and beyond any so-called professional grade body builder (no disrespect intended in the amount of work that goes in it).

These are my personal hero's and the best body builders of all time.

Peace and happiness to all of you today and everyday.

You beat me to it, BtB. I was going to say Mentzer too. Hard to beat his aesthetics. Also Frank Zane and Dave Draper both come to mind.

Reeves is my favorite physique. But the term bodybuilder evokes thoughts of raw rugged power and size combined with symmetry.

I would therefore go for Reg Parks and Chuck Sipes from the earlier days, and Lee Haney from relatively recent times.
Sergio Olivia is right up there too, and of course, Arnold.

Flex, you got something to say about that punk?????

Today as a drug free and clean, retired competitive bodybuilder.

The King of symmetry, and a lot of hard work after he broke his neck in 1994, then came back agenst all odds.

On the PR side...... Arnie hands down. He brought bodybuilding to the front lines.

Where does Flex live?
I'm pretty sure that picture of him is at the Five Dogs Shooting Range about 30 minutes north of Bakersfield. On the West end of the Rifle Range to be exact. I have many Saturday mornings there. Small world.

I am not a powerlifter nor am I a bodybuilder. I just want to be big and strong.
