Pretty much.

You can, however, still do deadlifts, lunges, cleans, snatches, and they probably have a leg press. If you can't make it to another gym, you can at least work on those movements and give your legs some good work.

Also, ask them to install a squat rack. They may say no, but theres always a chance they will oblige.

I see this question a lot. Like Swede said, the big one is find a new gym. If that's not possible consider a rack at home. You can get a workable set up, with weights, for $1000.

Beyond that you have leg presses, goblet squats, clean into front squats, lunges, etc.

Long term: Try to acquire one either from management or a new gym.

Short-term-sane-approach:

Power clean until you can pull up decent weight to your shoulders for front squats - focus on other movements such as the deadlift.

Short-term-ambitious-approach:

Load weight on top of boxes which you can then unrack from and squat (albeit without pins).

Short-term-brutal-approach:

Zerchers and Steinborn squats.

i use squat stands at home not as safe as a squat a rack but allows me to get some heavy weight on my back.Or you could do dumbbell squats but it is hard to go heavy with them after a while.
