Default heavy squatting

I did some heavy squatting, and just wondered that is it normal after 3 days for my glutes to still be hurting, like in a sore way? I am just starting lifting, and did not know if anyone else had this trouble.

Yes it's normal, and the soreness will go away if you keep squatting. Squat when your sore, but go a bit easier.

Normal, especially for your first few times doing a new lift. It will get better and you'll experience it less and less as you progress.

I wanna know when this soreness is supposed to go away! I've been squatting for over a year and at least one day a week my quads feel like blocks of wood!

If I have more than two weeks off squatting, I get incredibly sore after the first session back.

Sportin wood? Maybe we need to talk so I can explain a few things to you.

Look at this thread, and tell me if gives you that woody feeling you are talking about.
