Default useing a diffrent grip the bb row is still effective

i would like to know if bb row can be used with a one overhand grip and the other in a underhand grip and still be as effective,this is what i have been doing as i fined it allows me to handle much heavier weight.Any advice from the experinced lifters of mab would good.

I don't recommend that approach for a row. I would consider it slightly dangerous, potentially to one bicep or the other. Perhaps someone else can chime in here...

Use straps and a double overhand, or double underhand grip. A mixed grip should only be used for deadlifting training when 1RM strength is the end goal. (Meaning Bodybuilders could use straps and DOH)

stop trying to re-invent the wheel. the underhand grip causes more bicep use. its a back exercise, use your back.
