3 months is a good time frame to add an extra day in, it's not like it will only be two weeks and then swapping back to a 2-day routine.

Just adding days or time won't necessarily bring more/better results.
You also have to be smart about what you add. Give us an example of your routine, your proposed changes, and your current successes and failures. |

OP - I probably should clarify, adding an extra day to me means changing up to a 3-day routine or adding back in the day that may have been removed, not just adding an extra day.
