Pistachios are a favorite in my house. Wear your fingers down after a while shelling them all, but they are very tasty. Lower fat and a little higher carb, good protein so I like them close to my workout.

So, I'm scaling back a bit for the next couple weeks as my activity level is going to dip a little. Food won't be a lot different, but portions will be a little smaller. This usually just means that I won't go back into the kitchen for 2nd and 3rd plates.
Coffee w/ whey - 3 scoops throughout the morning 3 eggs, 2 strips bacon 10 oz leftover pork and onions 1.5 cups leftover cheeseburger stew Dinner: Parmesan Chicken Legs & Broccoli - 5 legs and 2 cups broccoli w/ lots of butter 5 # chicken legs 2 eggs Breading is 3 parts Parmesan cheese (the cheap stuff in the shaker) 1 part coconut flower 1 part almond flour Garlic salt, pepper, oregano, crushed red pepper, basil Coat chicken in egg, dredge in breading. Place on a greased pan Bake in over @ 375°F for a while. I really have no idea how long it takes chicken to cook, I just check it every 15 minutes to see how it looks. Serve with steamed broccoli and much butter.

Its been quite some time, but I haven't really eaten anything that interesting lately. Today was fairly normal.
Coffee w/ whey 3 eggs 2 strips bacon Wrap with turkey, lettuce,pepperoni, gouda Smoothie Dinner: Cabbage Casserole 1 head cabbage 3 pounds ground beef 1 onion, chopped 1 bell pepper, chopped 1 large tomato diced 1 tbsp minced garlic 1 pound sliced swiss cheese Pre-boil the cabbage for about 12 minutes. Drain and place in the bottom of a 13x9 casserole dish. Cook beef until nearly done, add onion and pepper and garlic. Cook until onion is almost done. Add tomatoes. Spread the meat mixture over the cabbage, layer the cheese over the top, and bake at 350°F for 15 minutes.

The usual today for the most part.
3 eggs, 2 strips bacon, coffee, whey whey and water post workout Leftover cabbage casserole Dinner: Spaghetti with Meat Sauce 3 pounds ground beef 1 pound italian sausage 3 cups pasta sauce 6 oz spaghetti salt, garlic, crushed red pepper, oregano, basil Brown all the meat, pour off any excess liquid, add pasta sauce and seasonings, let simmer for 15 minutes Cook pasta until desired level of doneness serve with parmesan cheese. Pretty simple, but very good. I ate 18 oz of the meat and 1/2 the cooked pasta. yay leftovers!

Bacon, eggs, coffee sans whey
turkey wrap mini pizza on a tortilla Ham, black soy beans, and brocolli not bad until i admit that the past 4 days in a row I've been weak and taken in at least an extra 1000 calories from a snack at night. 1/3 cup peanut butter 1/3 cup heavy cream 1 scoop vanilla whey The shame. I'm out of peanut butter and not buying anymore. My self control starts and stops at the grocery store.

recipe for ya.
get a big crock pot 2 cans of black beans 2 cans of chilie beans 1 can of rotelle, 2 if you like it really hot 1 can of diced tomato, delete if you use 2 rotelle I had smoked and pulled a Boston butt this week, I added about 1.5 lbs of pulled pork 2 cloves of garlic, minced or pressed 2 Tbs of Chipotle powder, again more if you like it spicey. If you have some onion and bell pepper, add that too. This has a great spicey and smokey flavor.
