Thought I would properly introduce myself. I'm Jeff, aka, glwanabe.
Some people may know me from other sites, as I tend to keep the same online name for all of my forums.

I've been to a lot of other sites for my interest in health topics, but this one caught my eye a few days back, and I liked what I saw. I especially liked the fact that I wrote something controversial, and was not flamed, but instead engaged in a conversation about my thought process.

I have several topics that interest me in my life that I fight to find time to devote to. I love being a Husband and Dad to my family. I love to cook, and find it relaxing to play with fire, sharp knives, and meat. I like to play bass badly, and can often be found making way to much noise for a man my age. I also have a decent home gym that I really enjoy. I worked myself into pretty good shape during my time in the Army, then had a long layoff of 8 yrs.

I joined the Army when I was 28, because I was going to regret it if I didn't do it before I got to old. I spent the 90's travelling all over, and loved every minute of it. I still work in the same career field today. Except now I work for the airlines.

Welcome to the forum. I'm an ex-Army man myself. Play guitar, but not so much anymore.

You won't find any flaming here. I pretty much believe that there are numerous paths to the top of the mountain, and that it's important for each of us to find that path, and enjoy the journey.
