Beginner pl-er here.

Been squatting and deadlifting since 09, but not consistently, so like 2 months on, 3 months off due to baseball, studies, whatever.

Really started working hard in sept 2010 with illini powerlifting, gained almost 20lbs of muscle.

Currently trying to gain as much weight as possible. Feeding frenzy 3 times a day.

Hi,

Cliff here, posting from leafy Wiltshire in England. I like the positive vibe on Muscle and Brawn and I might start a log on here. I already post on Sugdenbarbell.co.uk (where foul language and unrelenting derision are the order of the day). I like US sites: converting everything from kilos into pounds automatically makes me feel 2.2059 times stronger.

I did general weight-training/bodybuilding for years (I'm coming up to 49), but swapped over to powerlifting 2-3 years ago. My best lifts are:

Deadlift 500 X 5 or 563 X 1
Squat 400 X 8 or 500 X 1 (see vid)
Bench Press 308 X 8 or 365 X 1
Strict Press 154 X 14 or 230 X 1
Push Press 265 X 1

My bodyweight was 220 ish for most of these.

I'm currently a way off these PBs, but getting back into training now.
