No. It will not do the same thing. Vicks vapo-rub works by steadily releasing menthol fumes all night. That allowa your sinuses to stay a bit more clear. Putting it on your feet wil only make them feel colder. But it won't actually raise or lower your temperature, no matter where you put it.

I had a friend whose mother said her mom used to make her eat a small amount of it when she was sick. Sounds really gross to me. I doubt that this worked, eating it. Does not even sound healthy.

Eating vicks does not sound like a good idea. That is sort of gross. And you would not think it would be healthy.
I have heard of putting it on your feet. Never tried it but maybe I will next time I am sick. |
