Hi Titus,
I took protein shakes before my cardio exercise nut I will advice you to consult your coach before having anything. I have been doing exercising regularly since last since last 3 years and lost 37 lbs with cardio exercises.

Not sure the OP has a coach and it's not really necessary to consult a coach about something so minor; either he is able to workout fasted and his body can get along with it, or he needs to take food in if his body doesn't handle it well...in addition, the more extreme the exercise tempo, the wiser it is to have some food in the system.

It also has to be mentioned that a person that normally works out in the evenings has to have a transitional stage to get comfortable at working out in the mornigns, or at least some people do need to be mindful that they may need to ease in to swapping their cardio and/or wweight training times about.
