When it comes to powerlifting I feel that I am pretty knowledgeable, I managed a 450 bench, 805 rack pull and a 605 box squat with no gear or training partners. I think that its time I switched gears and go in a different direction for a moment while some of these injuries heal. With that being said, I have absolutely no idea on how to train BB style. I'm going to try to use this time to lean out, train a lil lighter and see what is hiding underneath this girth. All right Brothers/Sisters of MAB, help a brother out......

I have a vacation in feb...
Mother-in-law was diagnosed with Stage - 4 lung and brain cancer this weekend, travel may be difficult for a while. We'll see and thanks Rich.

Key thing i find is to know your metabolism, which im sure you already do and build from there. Im thinking you would enjoy a 3 day fullbody type of program.

We have a extra room if you need to stay over night.
8-10 reps, 3-5 working sets @ a 4-1-4-1 tempo Depending on sets 2-3 exercises per muscle group, then there is the RK training style as Steve mentioned. I don't have any style thats in the books. I have my own style.

This is an interesting topic of discussion. IMHO i think the first thing you need to decide is whether or not you want to train 3 or 4 days a week. And then you can go from there. You could try a "BB" style full body approach or you could try a split style of training.
Split training is a fun change from time to time. |
