#6 is so important. I am amazed at the guys that push it too hard too often. Much can be made from training just short of failure on a consistant basis. Go for maxes once in a while, but do it in a calm and controlled mood. Getting overly pumped up or taking pre-workout supplements to pump you up can be taxing on the nervous system after a while. Save the angry lifting for the days you really need it.

I've been doing workouts consistently over the past few weeks. Got back into it =)
Although I have been noticing that I have been taking a few naps after the workout when I get home. So that's a good thing? I was getting worried that I was overtraining myself or so...? |
