Single stack and pulleys: Both arms.

Machines are fine as long as you don't quite doing free weights. A 40% machine and 60% free weights is a good set up.

Free weight build the stabalizers. This is why I started using them more now that my bases muscle memory is over for my come back.

Certainly no plan to quit free weights; it's the only thing I have at home. Problem with the gym, for which I got a 10-visit card already, is that they have very little in terms of free weights so, I'm trying to find my way around a mine-field in case the ONE barbell is in use

If all else fails, I guess I could just be a cardio bunny so far though, I don't think I've seen anyone using the barbell.

Hubby figured it would be good for me to take a look at the gym, that was before he realised how little they had in terms of racks/barbells/benches and such.
