Default Elbow tendinitis

What percentage of elbow tendinitis cases do you believe are caused by years of volume training arm days?

I have no idea, but tendinitis can just as easily be caused by certain exercises, rather than simply high volume.

My experience...I did arm days until 2007 and had brutal tendinitis. Doing any row or curl felt like man-labor.

I stopped doing arm days late 2007 and my tendinitis went away. 100% gone. It took 6 months for it to slowly improve, but focusing on heavy push pull without much bicep work cured things 100%.

If I'm starting with 100% healed elbows, I can hammer curl or pinwheel to my hearts content.

But concentration curls, or anything that jars my elbow will bugger me for MONTHS.

I read an interesting article once that stated most elbow problems were cause by over-working the grip. It said you could aleviate much of the elbow problems by working your fingers in extension with bands. Food for thought.

I think it has alot to do with curling and doing cable pushdowns for hours every week.
