Are we trying to do too much, too soon? Or is it form-related? Or are we just trying to do too much in general? I know this can be a very general question, but I am curious as to why you feel most individuals injure themselves while training.

My injuries come from too heavy, too frequently.
I am noticing that I can thrive on as little as 2 days per week.

When I pull to heavy on deads, My ego takes over and I also hate the lift..So I think it's a mix of not careing to much for the lift and not taking time to get my form down.

Ive suffered a load of minor injuries the last year and I think my main reason are -
* Rushing through, or ignoring the warmup eager to SFW! * Lifting to heavy, to often * Stress in other areas of life (work haha) that make sleep and diet suffer and lifting heavy ignoring that fact * Overload of core without much more core training than the main lifts, resulting in lower back strains and overloads about once a month * Bad mental focus due to CNS fatique or other reasons Thats what I can think of now.

Im going to invest in a nursing home for all of us when we get old, staffed with hotties, near the ocean and with plenty of beer and wings. Yeah that's what I'm going to do.

Tiredness, as already stated, can make us less aware of strict form. Rushing through, means skipping warm-ups. Sometimes we do too much, either through enjoyment or impatience. But, then there's also the fact that injuries in any sports generally occur, for most people, no matter how good their form is or their warm-up or their training set-up. Walk off a curb often enough and you're bound to twist an ankle eventually! (basically)
