Trans fat. Hyrogenated Oil or Partially Hydrogenated Oil.
If you're trying to eat clean, avoid anything with more than a little white sugar and white flour.

My general rule for healthy food, is if you can find it like this in nature (steak, veggies, fruit, grains and so on), then its a good idea to eat it. Whereas you wont really find a soda drink growing in nature.
Stuff like bread and meats in different forms are fine, because you can say grind up a steak into a burger, or make grains into bread and so on. EDIT: Im not saying if you want to eat bread you have to go through all the processes to make it, because you can buy it from the shops. But you get the point.

The 80/20 rule comes in here quite well, because it's virtually impossible to avoid everything that's considered "bad" these days...though, it is possible as well, if you eat only fruits, veggies, eggs, meat, fish, grains...etc. With the 80/20 rule, you eat the above for 80% of your diet and the remaining 20% is made up of items that may contain some of the things that are considered as "bad"...it depends how clean a person wants to eat or can eat, since everyone's circumstances are different.

I'm with Babs, I'm an 80/20 guy.
I don't believe in avoiding food at social gatherings, especially when others have put their hearts into it. More than that, I need weekly cheats because I enjoy food. I also like to cook, and this involves the occasionally naughty item. I am all about balance.
