when i don't have my foam roller, I use a tennis ball. Seems to do the job and gets really deep in the area. The piriformis is a killer one!

In the meantime, has anyone ever used a pinroller (like for baking) in place of a foam roller? LOL I don't know what else to use for the time being.
Yerp rolling pin, pin roller you Canadians are a gas! XD You can use it for the back of the neck, hamstrings, quads, smaller problem spots that its harder to get with the foam roller.

You can also use the lat pull down machines rolling cushions leg place holder things too. I roll against them when I am too jacked to go on the floor lol.

Lol, I tried the rolling pin thing this morning...did help! I can definitely tell my thighs and calves needed some serious rolling...holy sh*t it's going to take me years to roll out all of this, haha.

I'm an avid weight trainer and have built several pieces of my homemade fitness equipment. Some are made of pvc, wood and others metal.
Here's a picture of my DIY safety squat rack and is all metal.

Hi, thanx. The post actually had the link to the article series. Anyway, here's the link to go directly to the "construction" part:

hahah nice thread. I lived in South Asia in a remote area for a work assignment. Total lack of gyms and gym equipment. But I still wanted to get buff.

I used large water bottles and filled them with water, and used them as dumbbells. Use cans as well. You can also fill bottles with sand for increased weight.
