OK, I'll bite. This has been stickied for almost a year, so most people should know or have an opinion on:
Are Shrugs a shoulder or a back execise? When exactly do you work traps? 1, 2, or 3 times a week? I know I have no idea. |

I do shrugs on my Legs, Traps and Forearms day in a 4 day routine. Check my sig for more info.

Shoulders or back.
On a split most people work them on shoudler day because there is less volume on that day, compared to back (ie normal back day 12-16 sets, normal shoulders 9-12).... They can be worked on either day. As I do a full body i hit them several times 3 days per week. They get hit with my OH Pressing, Rowing and deadlifting :) Carl. |
