It's time to get rolling
We each made goals at the beginning of the year. Only 2 months left to hit them. Time to get rolling.
Have you reached your goals? Fallen short? If so what have you learned? |
I've fallen slightly short on my weight loss goals. I've still made good progress, but it's been harder than I expected. Age, and a slower-paced lifestyle have really posed new challenges. I have adapted to these challenges and am moving forward, despite a few setbacks.
|
At the beginning of the year I set a goal to have a 250 bench max. I've fallen well short. I don't think I could get 225 right now. I've learned I can't bench for anything.

Yes, I fell, literally. I was hurt more seriously than I first suspected. That I'm not 20 anymore. I have to be more careful with progression, and not push my connective tissue as hard as I did. I was down but not out. I'm stepping back up to the plate with a new bat today! |
i've hit my goal for my bulk..had the hardest time gaining weight alway stuck at 175-180 but got crushing and got my weight up to a high of 209..time to cut down now for the show!

Having been on the side lines for 3 years and trying to make a come back from injury, I set very small goals for the year.
1. Maintain current weight of 206 ... currently at 209. Goal Met. 2. Lose some of the 44" gut ... currently 40". Goal Met 3. Stay healthy and injury free ... Goal Met 4. Get bench up from 125 max ... Current 195. Goal Met Very small goals but met each one this year. Next Goal is 215 bench by January 12th, 2011. Challenge under way. |
