How to train for sports 101
First you build ;
ligaments,joints,core strength, mobility, stability...bla bla bla
Hypertrofy-----------> (only if required for the spesific sport)
Maximal strength ---->
Conversion of Maximal Strength to power, speed, stamina etc.
This is a extremely simplified version.
But the point remains the same, if my sport demands maximum power, my power is restricted to my maximal strength.
it is imposibble for me to train power with a higher load than what I do in strenght training.
So every factor in sports are actually limited by strength.
Speed, power, stamina, and a combination of all of them.
Maximum strength is the corner stone of every single activity.
So if the question is, do you need a high maximum strenght?
YES...but of course you prioritize after what the sport demands.
