Training Age and Improved Recovery
Anyone know anything about recovery getting better with training age?
These past 6 months I feel like I could lift 6 to 7 days a week. Occasionally I overextend myself, but for the most part when I stay sane I could train 6+ days a week. I trained 4 days in a row this week and feel ready to go again tomorrow. |
I don't know about the recovery with age. I do know that if i miss a workout i feel like crap. I really don't get sore anymore. My muscles get tight but not actually sore. I really feel the best the morning after a hard workout.

Sorry, let me clarify. "Training age" is how long you've been training. So if you've been lifting for 24 years, that's your training age.
I am finding the the older my training age gets, the more efficient I am with recovery, even with heavy (not maximal) loads. |

^^ that sounds about right.

I don't believe that you necessarily recover faster. I believe that, the more advanced you are the harder it is to stimulate enough damage to cause gains(strength or size)
