I've been doing SLDL's with my knees locked and just bending down as far as I could go without the plates touching the ground. Though I'm weak and doing these light and strict

Is there really a right or wrong way though? Cause when I think about Good Mornings there a several ways to do them... but, GM's are a different exercise come to think of it.

I say no...do them strict within your limits and they should work.

Which variation you choose isn't right or wrong either...flexibility, anthropometry, etc all pay a role in what's effective for an individual.

Yeah I've seen that, as I'm sure many of you guys have. I bring it up because Steve's blog isn't the only place I've ever seen it discussed and I've seen different opinions.
Hence the reason I ask the question....

In the end it's just semantics and probably doesn't matter, but it was just for the sake of discussion.

Ha, there's always one

Obviously, or maybe not yet, the reason I put it out there was because the person that came out with it on tv, also said something close to...

"I don't know what this exercise is called, if it has a name, I just call it the falling forward exercise" and he laughed, while I sat there thinking, yeah, well the rest of the world calls it a GHR.

So, apparently he was making sense Not that it matters much to me but in future I will distinguish between the two in some way when I jot them down after a session, purely because, as seen from the posts above, they are different...but not because it overly bothers me.
