Ovarian cancer
 

how treatable is ovarian cancer? My friends mother in law just found out she had it and she will have surgery and then also have chemo for it. Also please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.

It is treatable - my wife is a survivor of ovarian / cervical cancer. Have hope and work closely with the doctors- technology is far advanced, these days.

I don't know anything about ovarian cancer, but my wife is fighting breast cancer now. She is over half way through chemo, then the choice of which surgery and 6 weeks radiation. She will also be on tamoxifen for 5 years. Cancer is very serious and is becoming more and more of an issue. It has no preference on race, gender or age.

I know that it is very treatable. I would say with surgery, chemo, prayers and hope, she will overcome it. I am saying a prayer right now for you and her:) God Bless.
