Default Shoulder Mobility and Pre-hab

So I have been having some issues with my right shoulder, I am not sure when it happened or how. But, I know that it is definitely restricing my mobility a little bit, and whenever I stretch it the ache seems to go away.

It isn't affecting my lifting at all, but I get soreness afterwards when I move my arm in certain directions.

So, does any know any good shoulder moibility exercises or pre-hab movements? I have been trying a couple of the things from mobilitywod.com but I think there is more out there that may help.

The issue is in the deltoid, I don't believe that it is with any bones or tendons.

Rest is first, but I'm sure you already tired that. If you can get your hands on a mini-TENS unit, that could also help with the muscles. I just got one from Propera off of Woot, and I love it. I use it a few times a week, and it definitely makes a difference and that's on my post-op shoulder.

Are you sure it's the muscle itself? Tendons and the rotator cuff are a very complicated mechanism...

Positive it isn't the rotator cuff. I have no hinderance with pre-hab for my rotator nor any pain from it.

Tendon is a slight possibility, however even with rest like you mentioned I am still struggling with mobility and some soreness after workouts.

Are you working your shoulder in all directions? Once I added in more face pulls, band pull aparts, side raises and even front raises, my shoulders have felt much better.

Thanks LtL, maybe I will start doing that for prehad on a daily basis with a band. I have been neglecting some directional movements now that you mention it!
