But I did not sleep when I had it. So I wasted over $600 just to lay there all night. If I do it again I will make sure to get the sleeping pill.

Does anyone have any suggestions for snoring while I am at it?

If you snore, you snore; most do, whether we like to admit it or not. If you're concerned about snoring that may keep you awake even with a sleeping tablet in you...just relax and sleep, they've seen it all before.

Oh, if you mean snoring during normal sleep at home, same applies, we all snore; turning on to your side may help a bit.
