I do not think that anything like that is safe long term. Doctors may say it is safe, but who really knows? I try not to take stuff unless I am in dire need to and suffering really bad.

My doc says that it is often prescribed long term for people. But you would think that after a while your body would become immune to it.

I am not too sure but do be cautious if you take aspirin. My brother was taking them to help thin his blood and then he had some internal bleeding and he was not able to take the aspirin again. They were not sure if the aspirin had anything to do with the bleeding or not.

Aspirin does have that side-effect as do quite a few blood thinning medications.
