I never thought I'd say this, but no, I don't think you NEED to squat. In my opinion, is squatting prefered? Yes, by a long shot, but (I think Stuart McRobert said something like this) if there is some sort of physical limitation or lack of equipment, then leg presses are a very reasonable substitute. I use them in my own routine (which also includes squats).

If not, why chose an inferior movement? It would be like choosing a geo metro to race a camaro when a corvette is a available. Ok, that might be exagerating, but I think we will all agree a squat is better if you can do them. |

-Diet is just as important as training program
-Over-training is thrown around to much -As Muscleandbrawn said higher reps do not "Tone" you up(I hate that word!) -Not one exercise is essential -High Intensity Cardio is NOT catabolic -Creatine does not cause you to hold tons of water(My biggest pet peeve) |

Heck Yes!!!!!
If you don't squat, you are wasting time and movements(unless you are physically limited).

As far as the thread:
Proper Stimulus+Proper Recovery and Nutrition=Growth Everything works, but nothing works forever

I've used several different creatine brands/variations over the years and every single time with every single brand, I have retained 5lb. of water weight. How do I judge this? Well, as soon as I'm done with a loading phase, I'm magically 5lb. heavier. When I decide to cycle off for a little bit, I magically lose 5lb. |
