Default Sleep

How much sleep do you need in a night? I need a good 8 hours sometimes more or else I find that I am just exhausted the next day.

It's generally accepted adults need 7-9 hours of sleep a night, with at least half being good quality deep sleep. Less here and there won't kill you right away, but it can add up over time and eventually catch up to you. You still won't die though. Too much has also been proven to be not beneficial.

And sleeping less than 7 during the week, and then sleeping til noon on the weekends doesn't count...

I manage to get away with less sleep than most. 5-6 hrs per night if I am not lifting. An hour more if I lift. I find that if I have to make do with less sleep (3-4 hrs sometimes, depending on work schedule), I can just about manage for a few days by increasing my food intake, although its still pretty tiring and exhausting.

Ideally 8 hours. Reality usually 6. It sucks, but there are people out there with much bigger issues (than lack of sleep) who get it done with no excuses. Just get it done.

7 hours is usually enough for me. Sometimes I need 8 but for the most part 7 is good.

I like to have 7-8 hours sleep but i normally get 5-6 hours and only 4 hours sometimes which leaves me feeling like crap. I have been to the doctors about my lack of sleep was prescribed a type of marzipan's which i don't like taken.I have read that ZMA can help with natural sleep. Please could someone give me some advice on ZMA helping with sleep or is there something elsa i could use.

Man I could sleep all day if you let me. I like my sleep and sleep about 10 hours or more if I do not have to get up early for school.
