Default Stretching when sore

If I am really sore, will it manage my muscles or anything when I stretch. Stretching often makes me sore muscles feel better but a friend said I may be damaging them more. Is this true or is he just blowing wind in my face?

You can damage muscles by overstretching them, otherwise you're fine, though it won't necessarily make them less sore; stretching can make muscles sore, depending on how intensely you stretch.

Really depends on what you did to make them sore. You do not want to damage them more if you do not know why they are sore in the first place. If you are sore because of an injury you may want to get checked out by a doctor.

Give them a bit of a stretch post workout. Be careful not to overdo it though. I muxed myself up real bad last fall by being too agressive.
