I ask because (1) I could do 140kg a few (4-5) inches above parallel but only 130kg at parallel and (2) I often see people do 140kg and 160kg for 10-12 reps at anywhere between 1/2 and 3/4 and wonder what this would convert to.
In theory, it would be impossible to ascertain a figure for a parallel squat based on either a 1/2 or 1/4 squat, mainly because the body would be recruiting the muscles differently meaning that a person could be weaker further down in the hole but as to how much weaker, that wouldn't be quantifiable. Leverage, joint flexibility, unfamiliar movement pattern at that depth, the sheer determination to get out of the hole...along with a whole host of other variables would exist.

See, somethings different here...

Baby manages to keep neutral spine even without any sort of heel.

Above picture doesn't have a neutral spine, even with a heel (work boots) to push knees further forward.

Perhaps babies have different proportions before they grow, making it easier to hit depth like that in a narrow stance without a heel?

I don't know if I have ever seen anyone squat deep like (a baby) with no heel, with neutral spine. Without pivoting their foot outward like a duck and rolling inward on the arch to create some fake ankle flexibility.
