Default What do you do when you can not sleep?

Last night I just could not sleep. Today I am paying for it. What do you do when you can not sleep at night? Is there some magical way to fall asleep that works for you?

Nope, no magical formula...you could try analysing what you did and at what time you did it, what you ate, drank etc...if there's something bothering you, that sort of thing; if none of those shed light on anything that could have been the cause, then it's just one of those things that happens once in a while, but if any of those are the cause, then just plan carefully in order to avoid the culprit.

Some people go and get a hot drink which works for them.

Sometimes reading a book helps, or just watching an extra half hour of TV to clear the mind. I have trouble getting to sleep if I workout too late in the day.

Supps: Melatonin, extra vit B1 (100-250mg, prevents bad dreams for some reason), camomille tea, calcium/magnesium combo, ZMA.
