Valentine's Day your way...

Every year, since about 1981 (when my wife and I were dating), I seem to always muck up V-day, because my wife's birthday is on the 13th. I usually remember one not the other, lol. One would think, I would remember being married 28 years in (April this year), and together over 30 years.

This year is different, and I planned to erase all my other screw-ups, and did it early too. I paid and hired 4 human-being singing cards (from a local flower shop), to arrive at my house on the 8th of this month to sing our favorite song, and hand her a gift ring in which signifies the continuance of my love and devotion promise until death separates us.

Came home to hugs and smooches....LOL.........

and, then she said...

"This doesn't erase your previous screw-ups" (with a smile).
