Not directed at your Wife in general, just on observation.

Life is like a pinball machine.

Some people are the flippers making all the action happen, and others are the balls just being pushed around never knowing where they will end up.

I've noticed that the ball people are for the most part unhappy with their lives, and have no clue as to how to make their lives better.

In a certain sense they are lazy. They won't do the work needed to take control, yet will complain constantly about how their situation sucks.

They often think they are unlucky, or that bad things just happen to them. The reality is, they are not in control of their own lives.

I said to her..."ever notice how some people always seem to be in the soup? Why do you think that happens?"
