What annoys me is that I didn't see the thread, and did a search on MAB for other beard threads to put this in. This thread came up first in the search.

Won't work for me due to Freudian psychology. My father in law and brother in law grow beards every winter. Gave it a try once and the wife liked it, co-workers hated it. Which was all the more reason to enjoy it, but the itching was driving me crazy. Tried the whole shampoo and conditioner thing to no avail.. I did like that it made me look a bit older as I have a baby face. Maybe it's time to try again.

If you condition your beard, I don't understand why there would ever be any complaints regarding it. I've been growing my goatee since Nov, since I can't grow a beard. So far, so good.

It always amuses me how people have a reaction to beards. I sometimes get asked by other blokes at work "Why do you have a beard?". I ask "Why do you not?".
