Been finishing up some backlogs of games lately:
Mafia II--Overall this game is pretty awesome IMO, especially if you like mob drama and GTA-style gaming, but the ending is pretty...off Max Payne 3--Really surprised Rockstar was able to live up to my expectations and reinvent this awesome saga from the early 2000s. The gameplay is stellar and mechanics are much more refined, but its still brutally hard on the upper tier difficulty levels (which I love). Dark Souls--Couldnt really get into this one as much as I was ensconced with Demon's Souls. Its still a great game, but something about Demon's Souls just sucked me in and wouldn't let me go until I had completed the game through and through.
