I'll be dead to the world for 10 weeks at basic training. After that I'll have 26+ weeks of AIT (training specific to my job), but during AIT I'll have access to a computer. Hopefully I'll also be able to get back to the gym, but I'm not sure. The gym may have to wait until I finish all of my training, which could be upwards of a year. It'll kill me to put down the weights for that long, but hopefully I'll develop completely new kinds of strength.

Oh the workouts you will get will definitely make you forget you are not lifting "iron". Best shape of my life was when I was in the military.
