Well, there might be greed, but that door swings both ways. If we get frustrated we can take initiative, leave and start our own company.

That's what I did. I got tired of getting steak knives with the company logo on them for Christmas while the office workers were getting thousands of dollars in bonuses. They have a right (freedom) to run their company as they see sit. That's the beauty of freedom, and I respect that. I also had the freedom to leave, and I did.

There's a big difference between entrepreneurship and corporate greed.

I absolutely don't see this as the 'entitlement generation.' They may not have a focused agenda, or even be able to articulate clearly what they're about, but they 're right that something stinks to high heaven in the system.

Look at the behaviour of the investment bankers in the financial meltdown in 2008. Croneyism, corruption, insider dealing, the cynical exploitation of anybody outside of their own clique, feathering their own nest when they absolutely knew that the bubble would burst eventually... the financial regulators in their pocket, the multi-million dollar lobbyists....it goes on and on. America should have rounded the lot of them up and fired them from a cannon into space.

America got shafted by a small group of super-rich financial whizz-kids, alpha males gambling and then losing other people's money, guys who had nothing but contempt for the ordinary working stiff. Reagan - I think -and Clinton removed all the protection that America enjoyed. Even in the wake of the 2008 crisis, that has by no means been reinstated.

I think the increasing power of the corporation, with its ability to ride roughshod over national interests, is a major problem for the US and the world economically, socially, environmentally, culturally and ethically.

Some of the protestors look a bit smelly, but I think they've got plenty to protest about.

If people would actually hear their message instead of listening to fox fake news, they would get them. They are simply saying it is unfair to bail out banks so they can get their huge bonuses while the same banks are foreclosing on homes. Its about equality, why are millionaires getting helped instead of the working man?

These are the same yahoo's that could not afford the homes that they were buying.

More like the refinance generation, talk about greed!

The banks shouldn't have given out loans to people who couldn't afford them. They are supposed to be the professionals in the equation

Their message is unclear and their movement, chaotic. Past that, if their quarrels are with the bail outs, why not protest the entities which drafted and passed the bailouts - Washington.

If their issue is with foreclosures, protest those who pressed banks into offering/allowing sub-prime loans and mortgages - Washington/Fannie-Freddie.

If the issue is with billionaires paying small taxes, protest those who regulate tax code and allow for giant loopholes - Washington.

Lets also remember the bailouts (tarp) and those specific to the banks (CPP) have been repaid and for CPP specifically, the US walked away with a profit.

Businesses giving away their own money to employees seems to be an issue, yet there is little Occupy outrage over the mess that is Fannie and Freddie (bailout after bailout, large bonuses for CEO, etc.) or the US gov't piss poor record in controlling spending.
