What makes you happy?
 

What makes you happy in life? My husband, my family, and my cats keep me happy. they are all very important to me. Working out makes me feel happy as well. What makes you light up?

As I have grown older, I try and pleasure in simpler things. Knowing I have a scheduled day off (I work freelance) as opposed to having no work makes me happy.
A few weeks ago, it was unusually warm and I was happy because I was able to go shirtless and drink tequila beer on the balcony in October :D
A good workout, great book, successful project, writing my novel, drinking tea, eating cake and watching Star Trek TNG :D when my sports teams win lol!

Quality time with the missus, friends and family are all important. Knowing that things could have worked out a lot worse and thinking where I could have been had I not pulled my head out of my ass.
Finally, those days when I don't feel ill make me the happiest of all.

Years ago, I only believed I could be happy with profound occurrences, now I know better.

I'm always happy :)

Little things make me happy.

Quiet.

A well made, non-episodic TV series.

People that work hard and "get it."

Having a paycheck.

Anger and hatred.

Nah, mostly seeing my friends and family. And playing Zelda. :p

Looking at my racked, cleaned up weights knowing that they did not kick my ass today, nay that I was the one kicking that ass.

I love any type of fiction that is immersive.

I live in Perth Australia so i love the middle of summer!!!

or smashing a music fesitival overflowing with gorgeous women in fluro singlets, again on perfect bright blazing hot summer day!!

Quite a lot: a wispy cloud in the sky, sun streaming through the window...but mostly, a pain free day.
