Weightlifting standards - where do you fall?
What are your thoughts regarding these standards? And where do you fall?
(Need to click on the links in the top left of the page to go to the appropriate tables) Weightlifting Performance Standards For most part, my numbers fall on the low end of the intermediate range, which seems about right, except for press where I just clear the "advanced" numbers. The biggest shocker for me is the powercleans. The table makes me feel ridiculously weak for this lift - barely above the novice mark for a 1RM. |
My OHPress is between Advanced and Elite
My Bench Press is between Intermediate and Advanced My Squat is between Untrained and Novice (probably because it's a front squat!) My Deadlift is a little way off Advanced My Clean, if properly tested, would be bang on intermediate at this point |
OH Press is advanced
Bench Press is advanced Squat is advanced Deadlift is intermediate I don't Clean...that's women's work :) |
Press- Intermediate
Squat - Intermediate Bench- Intermediate Deadlift - Novice: Just shy of intermediate but that will change soon Clean - Untrained! Just short of novice but again, that will change :biglifter: |
Bench Press - somewhere between advanced and elite
Squat - between advanced and elite Deadlift - between advanced and elite (again) But I am definitely not nearly elite! |
OH Press is novice
Bench Press is intermediate Squat is intermediate Deadlift is intermediate |
Between novice and intermediate, on all lifts.
|
Benchpress- I'm way above elite
Don't give shit about the other lifts since I only compete in bench. |
Between intermediate and advanced on all lifts. Only 4lb from advanced on bench, but just over intermediate on Dead lift, which I'm in the process of changing.
|
Using my personal bests:
Press - Advanced Bench - Advanced Squat - Intermediate Deadlift - Intermediate Personally, I don't know how I feel about my weight and that squat requirement being intermediate. Personally, I don't feel like 300+ is intermediate. |
