Passed out on a squat set. Rested, drank a protein shake and then completed the session.

Got a shoulder impingement and couldn't press for around a month so I just trained lower body.

There isn't a single day that passes where I don't ache or hurt in a new and interesting way. Training through the minor pains and pushing past the niggles is how we progress.

I squatted in reverse from almost 300lbs back to bodyweight over the course of about 1-2 months. Not a good choice. I always have aches and pains, but my inability to accept an injury has kept me, well... injured.

I've trained through rotator cuff issues & bicep tendonitis for several months now. It wasn't until my lower back cried uncle that I took time off to really address the shoulder. When I started getting jolts of pain down the leg I figured I needed to really take a break.

A sprained ankle didn't keep me out of the gym. Upper body wasn't sprained, everyone thought I was crazy, but I was bored not being able to lift.

Got into a minor car crash as a passenger, cracked the windscreen mirror with my forehead. Then proceeded to hit up a Squat PR once I was cleared by the police.

(No-one else was hurt)

I have trained the last 4-5 months with what I believe to be a minor fracture in my collarbone. For the first 3 months I couldn't sleep on my right side.

If 2008 I trained with a torn right shoulder, slowly bringing my bench back up each week as it healed.

I trained about 10 years with horrendous elbow tendinitis.

During my recent powerlifting meet, I threw out my lower back stretching after my first deadlift attempt. I could hardly stand up straight. I told myself to nut up and lift as if my life depended on it.
