I don't really have long term goals that I can remember. Some of the shorter term ones:

Qualify for nationals totalling 520kg's+ @90kg's BW - DONE. 530@88.75
3pps bench - now done for a double
200kg's squat - done 190kg's for 3, should at least double 200 this weekend
227.5kg's (500lb's) DL - Failed two months ago after pulling 220. Should hit this next week.
Move up to the 100kg's weightclass - Well and truly done

My goals are more long term, they are things I want to do by the time I turn 50 years old. Only two years to go...

Goal #1
I want to be 200 lbs with 10% bodyfat. This year I cut down to 220 lbs and looked pretty decent with a rough outline of abz. My goal is to cut down to 220 lbs every year and look better than the year before.

Goal #2
I want to squat 500 lbs and deadlift 500 lbs for reps. This year I took my squats from 400 lb max to somewhere around 425 lbs max. If I stay on course I think I can hit this. My deads haven't made any significant growth and I plan to prioritize them more this year.

Ok so this sounds about right, I only have a few months so I won't be aiming too high:

1) Learn the (PL) equipment
2) Squat 260kg - Bench 180kg - Deadlift 260kg
3) Stay at around 90kg bodyweight
4) Stay healthy.
5) Keep attending the cardio/aerobic classes, even if it's just to leer at younger women.

Goals

Hit BW of 230 - 21 pounds to go, dropped 15 so far since May
5PPS Deadlift - 435 currently
Hit 2PPS bench - 10 pounds to go
Hit 3PPS squat - 255 Currently
Fix Squat Depth - done
Compete in Strongman - done

The iron goals may have to wait a little while as I really need to drop my bodyweight another 20 pounds. Once I start in on a real bulk the iron will progress quickly I think.

My goals for 2011 are to work towards a 500lb deadlift, 450lb squat, and 400lb bench by my 40th birthday (July 2012). So far I've done a 495lb deadlift, 405lb squat and 335lb bench (but should be good for 350). I am also working towards dropping some bodyweight and getting in better overall condition.

So far I'm on track for the lifts, but I got off-track on the bodyweight and conditioning... I'm trying to bring that up to speed now, but it's sometimes hard to focus on those when you're smashing heavy weights and having a blast at it.

I planned to make 300 pounds for DL and Squat and I did that.

So for end of 2011:
Squat 130kgx5
DL: 130x5
Bench: 95x5
OHP: 65x5: 75kg for single rep
Clean: 80kg for a single rep
Chins: 15
Dips: 8 with 30kg weight added
Rows: 75x5
Pull ups: 10
Run 6km without stopping!

Lifting goals --

Military Press: 185 x 1 [or 155 x 5]...................... current - 130 x 7
Bench Press: 225 x 1 [or 190 x 5]....................... current - 155 x 8
Squats: 315 x 1 [or 265 x 5].............................. current - 210 x 6
Deadlift: 385 x 1 [or 325 x 5]............................. current - 255 x 8
Pull ups: BW x 15............................................. current - BW x 9

I am still testing waters for low-rep training (at 5 rep range now), and may not get to the singles. So I set out equivalent weights based on target 1RM using Jim Wendler's formula.

Physique goals --
Put on a few more lbs over next 7-8 weeks, then cut out the flab over rest of the year to get to a solid 170 lbs bodyweight, with < 12% BF. In case of conflict between physique and lifting goals, lifting wins.
Currently, weighing in at 182 lbs at about 16% BF.

I only started in late July, so its hard to say if I am on track or not. But if I bust my a$$ in the gym, these goals may not be unrealistic.
