I don't see how this statement of hers equates to what she is doing, the two don't gel:

Being fat is one thing, deliberately getting bigger is not the same as being fat/overweight.

No one can get that big without mentally being a train wreck. The mental burden is as big as the physical.

It is, and she says that she feels more confident and sexy than ever? I know it all comes down to personal tastes but what she is doing is reckless and irresponsible considering she has two children.

I looked at her legs in one of the pics down near the bottom fo the article and thought to myself that no way could anyone think that was "looking good"; and as in line with yourself, I just said to hubby that maybe there is some mental thing involved here, body dysmorphia (?? is that the term) etc?

I cannot see how she feels better or healthier as she gets bigger, if she did then she would be able to walk of her own accord and not need to use a scooter.

Every time a person comes up to you and states "I can't gain weight! I'm a hardgainer. What should I do?" show them the link...not the ideal way to gain weight and far too much of it, but it proves the point that they're not trying hard enough.
