The Rock playing Luke Cage
 

There's a rumor floating around that The Rock might play Luke Cage in a Marvel flick.

Hmm, that would be very cool although if Wikipedia is right it could be the "Old Spice Guy's" break into movies.

A few years ago, I would have doubted that he could have pulled off the anger necessary to do it. But after seeing Faster and Fast Five, I think he's be perfect. Maybe he gets a cameo on the new Avenger's movie. Will troll Superherohype.com and see if there is anything there.

Hard to tell how old the rumor is. I'm sure so much goes on behind the scenes that they are always in "talks".
