here is WHAT I REALLY NEED TO KNOW NOW! should i have a 1 day refeed tomorrow (500-600g carbs) which some people recommend or one cheat meal tomorrow night which consists of this one meal 500g (not allowed to exceed) finally. people do not mention can you eat crap on this refeed or am i safer sticking to pastas ( wholewheat with sauce), lentils etc please let me know it is causing me a headache not getting a clear answer.

Well bro im not familiar with this CKD diet, but whatever you do keep most of it clean. Allow yourself something like 100-150g of carbs to eat something bad and the rest eat good, clean, complex carbs.

thanks mate i was wondering having one cheat meal end of the night like all in pasta etc like Dave Palumbo or getting in 500g carbs all clean tomorrow from wholewheat pasta, chickpeas,lentils etc? throughout 6 meals.
Wasnt looking to eat crap but hard to meet them carbs wb

ill scatter them out tomorrow when i wake up:
menu will be Whole wheat pasta Chickpeas canneilli beans green lentils Something i been scared to eat milk porridge scones bread rice i never eat these so could you justify this for me what i can eat carb wise? i can stil have protein and carbs together yeah? was thinking just carbs & protein meals tomorrow. tomorrow morning example: peas/2 cans of lentils or cups of wholewheat pasta smothered in spices? wb, this is really helping me, your advice thanks

For refeeds I would recommend this:
Protein- 1gram per pound(lb) for body weight Carbs- You said 500g correct? I would split them something like this between 6 meals 30%/20%/10%/10%/20%/10% per meal. So - 150g/100g/50g/50g/100g/50g thats for each meal. In the first 2 meals have you cheat foods along with good complex carbs, so for example have a couple glasses of milk(skim), a banana, and some oats for breakfast, this is just an example, count everything. Fats- Keep them as low as possible, yet don't try to do so, what i mean by this is only get your fats from the carbs and protein you eat on your refeed, and keep protein LEAN, chicken/fish etc, try and stay away from fatty red meat/pork etc.

The idea of a refeed is to fill out your glycogen and regain some sanity, not gain fat. Try to minimize extra caloric intake through cleaner foods, and like I said, have a couple foods that you have been craving in those first 2 meals, just be sure to count everything and record it.

Thank you very much. I am really craving nothing except lentil,legumes & pulses. But they will in not way meet 500g or carbs because you take the fiber away from them. I was thinking with every meal just chicken breasts,prawns, haddock fish & then carbs with every meal thats about it how does that sound? maybe the cheat food would be a sauce to flavor the pasta thats about it?
personally 3 sachets of porridge, two cups of milk and two teaspoons of sugar for breakfast. maybe only bad thing i would have ignore what i written hear and just what i written & just go with the above paragraph. Then that has me completely sorted out.
