I think the ones that put their heart into it and don't do it as a fad really know what they're doing, and there are some great meals out there.

I love "get ripped" articles that involve stuff like "reduce stress by practicing Qi gong - focus your inner chi! Stress keeps you fat."
I can't argue about the impact that stress has. I am a stress eater. On the other hand, are stress-free individuals really more "six pack" ripped? That is the question...

That's what gets me. It's socially acceptable for someone to say "I'm a vegetarian" and expect people to accommodate them. However, if I were to say, "I am on the paleo diet, and I need to derive >40% of my caloric intake from meat products," (not that I am, mind you), that would be considered rude and uncooperative.
