Default Australian Fitness & Health Expo 2011

Hey all!

Today I was at the 2011 Australian Fitness & Health Expo. Was a great day!!!

I saw Dorian Yates, but I didnt get a picture or anything

Got a picture with Branch Warren and an autograph, he is a beast!

Also Derrek Poundstone was there and did a demo. He picked up his assistant, snapped a hammer, snapped a baseball bat and bent two frying pans together. The videos are below, I was at a funny angle so its a little hard to see.

He also spoke a bit about his diet. He seems to be a big supporter of soy protein and was saying there are no negative studies against it. I dont know much about this, and I dont know if its actually true though. He was also talking about how he boils and blends 1kg (2.2lbs) of chicken and drinks it while he is at work.

There was also a good demo by FMA (strength and conditioning guys) on the overhead squat. It was geared towards trainers which was great! He was talking about how his company focuses on adding weight the bar, focusing on real training and real lifts.

There was also some guys doing clean and jerk. There were two guys doing it. They guy who lifted the most topped out at around 127.5kg.

I also got some free BCAA supplements (Which I will try out, never used them before) and some pre workout supps which I will also try. Also got an ON Tshirt and some magazines.

Not to mention there were some HHOOOOOTTTT ladies there!!
